Impressionism fascinates because no single stroke can be reduced to one colour. When I translate this language into thread, blending hues through layered embroidery, I create an Impressionist textile.

Can embroidery exceed the decorative? The exploration centres on the notion of independence. Water‑soluble embroidery liberates the thread from its fabric ground, allowing it to stand alone without supplementary materials. The seamless transitions create a distinctive tactility, while colours remain vivid and organic forms appear alive.
