The artist continued the narrative style of the Impressionist in the second piece of the Trio collection. Different from the unification of similar series of colours, the artist focuses on the opposition relationship of complementary colours, especially under the variation of proportions and shapes of colour blocks.

The dusk is dazzling and rich, which is the last light in the upcoming darkness. It is a moment when darkness and brightness, warmth and cold coexist. The artist applied a more concrete description than the previous work to present her understanding of this feeling through complementary colours.
